David Gerasimow and Deborah Yates join Blackbird Technologies as Senior Litigation Counsel.

Blackbird Technologies is pleased to announce that David Gerasimow and Deborah Yates have joined the company as Senior Litigation Counsel.

Mr. Gerasimow recently left Fish & Richardson, one of the nation’s leading intellectual property law firms, after seven years of litigating patent and trade secret cases. He has worked across a broad range of technologies, including wireless communications, semiconductor fabrication and testing, and natural language processing. Mr. Gerasimow received his law degree from the University of Iowa, where he graduated with High Distinction and was inducted into the Order of the Coif honor society. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, majoring in computer science, mathematics and history. He has also been registered to practice before the US Patent Office for more than a decade.

Ms. Yates was recently Counsel at WilmerHale, a general practice firm with a leading intellectual property litigation practice. She has more than eight years of experience managing high stakes litigation in fields such as semiconductors, internet-based applications, and pharmaceuticals. Ms. Yates received her law degree from George Mason University, where she graduated first in her class. Ms. Yates holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with the highest distinction and Palmer Scholar designation. Ms. Yates graduated as valedictorian at the University of Maryland, where she received her undergraduate degree.
