BOSTON (PRWEB) January 04, 2018

Blackbird Technologies has resolved patent infringement lawsuits on digital data duplication technology with all defendants, including Netflix and Starz.

Blackbird Technologies filed lawsuits in February 2017 on US Patent No. 7,174,362, relating to a digital data duplication system that uses computer networks to automate the process. The cases were filed in the US District Court for the District of Delaware against a group of defendants, including Netflix, Inc. (17-cv-00100) and Starz Entertainment, LLC (17-cv-00102). Blackbird Technologies has resolved all suits related to this patent.

“In less than a year, Blackbird Technologies was able to resolve all cases related to this patent,” said Wendy Verlander, President and CEO of Blackbird Technologies. “This is another example of our patent litigation team’s dedication to helping inventors.”
