BOSTON, Jan. 9, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Blackbird Technologies has settled a patent infringement lawsuit related to computerized medication dispensing carts.

Blackbird Technologies filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Humanscale Corporation in June 2018 in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey(18-cv-11222), asserting infringement of US Patent No. 8,180,485. This patent relates to computerized medical carts for the secure maintenance and dispensing of medication to patients. Last quarter, Blackbird Technologies settled the case against Humanscale.
