BOSTON, June 20, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Blackbird Technologies has settled a patent infringement lawsuit related to secure online transactions.

Blackbird Technologies filed a patent infringement lawsuit against HSBC Bank USA, N.A. in March 2019 in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware (19-cv-00462). Three patents were asserted — US Patent No. 7,958,214, US Patent No. 8,285,832 and US Patent No. 9,424,848, all relating to technology for secure authorization of online transactions. Last month, Blackbird Technologies settled the case with HSBC.
